School Objectives

SivaSanta School is a non-profit service oriented tuition centre. Our objectives are:

 

w To provide a strong educational foundation to every aspiring student helping them achieve their curriculum goals i.e. higher marks / grades and enable them pursue their ambition in higher education.

w To provide quality and wholesome education to students, focusing on 

             - strong subject fundamentals, basic concepts and principles

             - instilling self-confidence & positive attitudes in every student slowly and steadily,               remembering the saying “Man becomes what he thinks”

             - inspiring the students to explore self-learning, rousing curiosity and interest in the              subjects, motivating them to observe and practice the learning in daily life.

             - helping each student fully uncover his/her hidden potential blossom. All human              beings possess a beautiful instrument i.e. a mind which can think, an intellect which              can discriminate (true or false); a will power is needed to sharpen this vital faculty 

w To provide a good learning atmosphere charged with an aura where students find joy in coming and sharing and co-learning; and blossom into beautifully integrated personalities manifesting patience, perseverance, wisdom, knowledge, sharing, team spirit etc.

Learning never stops

Learning never stops in our lives. A curriculum based education may stop with schools, colleges, universities, but learning continues throughout our lives. This is true not just for students but even teachers and all us. As the Tamil saying goes “Kattrathu Kaiman Alavu, Kallathu Ulagu Alavu” i.e. what we have learnt is only the size of a handful and what we are yet to learn is the size of the universe. How true it is.

In SivaSanta, it is our objective, our teachers not just teach but inspire the students, kindle their curiosity, rouse their appetite for learning, a keen eye observing life situations around so that learning never stops, is perpetual and continuous in their lives. Life is the greatest teacher.
