Non-profit, service oriented organizations Our parent organizations e.g. Temple of Fine Arts (TFA), Annalakshmi Restaurant etc are non-profit, service oriented with centres in Malaysia, India, Singapore, Australia and Srilanka. Founded in 1981, TFA is well-known today in each centre, recognized and respected as an institution whose primary motive is service and promoting arts and culture, through music and dance.
Likewise, Annalakshmi, the vegetarian restaurant is the culinary arts wing of TFA. In Singapore, ever since it was opened ( 8th Mar 1986) at Excelsior Hotel, Annalakshmi has been a hallmark for vegetarian dining attracting diners from all walks of life. It is unique in several ways contrastingly different from conventional eating outlets. It is run largely by volunteer staff who joyfully serve in an assortment of restaurant activities; cooking, serving, dish washing, taking orders etc.
Do not be surprised, most of SivaSanta school teachers are also volunteers in various activities of TFA & Annalakshmi. They exhibit similar dedication & passion in teaching at SivaSanta school as well. |
